Fear The Wolves Comes To Steam Early Access July 18th

July 5, 2018

Vostok Games new take on the battle royal game will join Steam Early Access on July 18th. Fear The Wolves features many of the hallmarks of the genera including 100 players descending from parachutes to loot for gear and combat each other until only one remains.

However this will include a greater emphasis on dynamic weather and environmental dangers. Including hazardous waves of radiation and the titular packs of wolves and mutants roaming the ruins of Chernobyl. Fear The Wolves will also be exclusive played from a hyper accurate first person perspective without random hit rates, referred to as the Fair Shooting system.

If that sounds familiar, it's because many on the team previously worked on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. The single player first person adventure games debuted three entries between 2007 and 2009. Vostok Games was founded in 2012 by former GSC Game World employees shortly after cancellation of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. Their first title, Survarium, was launched in Steam Early Access in 2015 to a middling reception and has yet to see a full release three years later.
